Everyday Leading Ladies is a series of images that have been edited to represent normal women of society on famous, male dominant album covers.
The chosen album covers consist of male, British artists that have changed the way the music industry works. By changing the covers from male models to female models, it allows you, the viewer to engage with it how you want too and lets you make your own assumptions on the edited images.
Why? I decided to modify these album covers to what I wanted because I want to test the limits of freedom of expression within the laws of copyright. Yes, you can clearly make links between my covers to the original, but there are great differences to state that they are now separate and new pieces of art to the world.
